Mudspiel update... both teams had a great time this weekend. Thanks to Plymouth State Ice Arena and Dave and his crew for hosting all of us. Both teams played their last games at 4:30 yesterday and narrowly avoided playing each other at 8:30 this morning. They enjoyed sleeping in. They look forward to going back next year. ... Mudspiel update... both teams had strong first games yesterday, winning 9-3 for team Chapman and 9-1 for team Barnes. Team Chapman had a tough second game last night losing and dropping to the C bracket. Team Barnes played a tough hand this morning, going down early, fighting back going into the 8th up by one without hammer. The other team tied it up, draw to the button to determine the winner. Thank you to everyone who joined us for one of our six Learn to Curl sessions this year—four full sessions and two minis (with a boost of interest from the Olympics!). We always enjoy sharing the sport we love and introducing it to new curlers.If you’re ready to get back on the ice, our Spring session begins this Friday and runs for four weeks.
